Phi Phi Islands is a small archipelago consisting of six islands located in Krabi Province, Southern Thailand. The two main islands: Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Phi Phi Lee Phi Phi Islands are the largest and the most populated islands. Every year, they are visited by many people. The rest islands in the group are formed with huge limestone mountains jutting out of the sea.

Phi Phi Islands is believed to be one of the oldest communities in Thailand. There was even a legend about the city’s founding that an ancient sword being unearth prior. Nowadays the Ton Sai village lying on the low sandy isthmus of the islands is the center that develops mainly. Most of population on the islands is Muslim. Therefore, it is better if you avoid wandering on the street with just a pair of shorts or bikinis. Every morning and evening, you can hear the prayer from the islands frequently.

Ko Phi Phi Don is the largest island and most developed one among the group. In this island, you may surprise with flurry of activities with many supermarkets and restaurants. There are many long beach surrounding the island where can be an ideal place for those who get hooked with diving. The curving bays of Ton Sai and Loh Dalam also offer striking views.
